(FH), M.Sc., MBA Wolfgang Bettendorf studied mechanical engineering at the Rhineland-Palatinate State Polytechnic in Coblenz and at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, USA. He studied knowledge based systems in the Department of Computer Science at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland and economics at Brunel University / Henley Management College in London, England. During his activities at the rolling bearing group FAG Kugelfischer, Georg Schäfer AG spanning more than 11 years, he undertook tasks in the areas of applications engineering, system analysis, strategy development, planning, logistics and distribution. At the time of his departurein 1997 he was general manager of FAG South East Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore. In this function he carried responsibility for the operative business in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, The Philippines und Vietnam. Main areas of activity:The main areas of his activity lie in the areas of complexity management, business process reengineering, supply chain management with the focal themes of planning processes, inventory management, stock administration , dispatch and distribution logistics and outsourcing of logistics services.
