INTARGIA science prize for strategic information and IT management
The INTARGIA TARGION science prize for strategic information and IT management was donated in 2005 for the first time by INTARGIA Managementberatung GmbH to mark the company's 15th anniversary.
The science prize is awarded to outstanding theses submitted for business studies, business information science and information management/IT management/IT project management. "With this scholarship, we hope to make a significant contribution to bridging the gap between what is technically feasible and how it is implemented in business terms by promoting scientific theses dealing with issues at the interface of business studies and IT, the focal area of our consulting activities", says Dr. Thomas Jurisch.
Matthias Uhrig adds that the prime criterion for judging the theses will be their practical application. The thesis should make a significant contribution to the use of future-oriented information and communication technology in business or public administration. The prize is endowed with the sum of €10,000 and will be awarded every three years in future. The contest for 2008 will take place in 2007.
The TARGION will be presented to the corresponding winner during an official award ceremony.
